Sherri Ann Hinnenkamp

Sherri’s life began on August 17, 1956 in Marion, KS; the daughter of Dale and Shirley (Albright) Vogel. She graduated from Wichita State University and served her community as a medical technician for Wesley Medical Center for over 39 years. Sherri married Mark Hinnenkamp in 1977 in El Dorado. Sherri loved life and enjoyed being outdoors. She liked to go running and meticulously mowed her lawn. Sherri found peace cooking and spending time with family and friends. She loved to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play football as well. Her greatest joy was her family, which includes her husband, Mark of Benton; daughter Andi (Paul Wojtal) Hinnenkamp of Germantown, NY; grandson Ewen Jude; siblings Tim (Amy) Vogel of Marion, KS and Debbie Van Kleek of Carol, IA as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Sherri passed away on September 23, 2022 in Benton, KS. She is preceded in death by her brother, Doug Vogel; father, Dale Vogel; and sister, Nancy Vogel. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7pm on Tuesday, September, 27 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at 10am at Palmyra Baptist Church in Benton, KS. Sherri will be laid to rest at the Benton Cemetery.
