Donna Lue Hladky

Donna’s life began on July 10, 1944 in Cowley County, KS; the daughter of Cecil and Waunita (Baumgartel) Drake. She graduated from high school and went on to attend beauty school, earning a beautician’s license. She was a partner for many years, operating Hair Tamers in Winfield. Donna was united in marriage to J. Leroy Hladky in El Dorado. Donna worked hard for her family and enjoyed making things beautiful. She loved crocheting, watching soap operas, golfing and solving computer puzzles. Her greatest joy was her family, which includes her sisters: Wanda Hodge of Mulvane, KS and Norma Drake of Winfield, KS; 2 nieces, many great nieces and great nephews, close niece Megan; cousin Ervetta Ferry of El Dorado. Donna passed away on May 23, 2023 at her home in Winfield. She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy, her parents and sister, Elsie Standifer.
